Judy was born and raised in upstate NY. She had gone to school to learn hair care and beauty. Though her career path has changed, Judy still continues to enjoy learning and teaching self indulgence and beauty tips.
A Note from Judy:
I would like to let everyone know how much I like doing crafts. I have enjoyed doing so many different types of crafts over the years that I have decided a few years to ago to market my items that I have created. I remember as a child growing up I would watch an older aunt crocheting on thin crochet thread and marvel at what she created. I used to watch my mother sew things as well as crochet afghan’s and lap throws using regular yarn along with the end result of the colors she mixed together.
As I grew older I decided I was going to take on the challenge and try my hand at crocheting and other different crafts as that is where my real interest was. The one problem with doing this is that you don’t want to stop at just one and you want to continue making other things. I enjoy too many different things such as crocheting baby items, scarves, as well as edging around all occasion cards, jewelry making, hair bow barrettes and more.
With my spare time I have created and come up with many different ideas to market. The best thing of all is that what I make is unique and you will not find it sold in stores. I know many spend a lot on such things however my overhead is low so I am able to extend the savings to everyone. So far I have not extending my selling to vendor type markets or malls. If you come to NODA (a location in Charlotte NC) you can see me located on a Friday night set up near the Smelly Cat Coffee House displaying my products. I also will sell at certain craft shows in the area that are well known to most.
For those of you who are unable to attend a craft show or visit NODA You can visit Judy’s website http://judyscreations.org for your convenient shopping . Always remember to check back as it is updated with new products.
